Following trend models and research, what would kitchens look like in 2050? With more and more people using food delivery services, or going out to eat, our image of a future kitchen is less about the function of cooking, but of the act of eating.
Influenced by simplistic Japanese designs, the heart of the home can now be entirely closed off and hidden when not in use. The simple materials of Ash wood, poured concrete, and matte metal, bring a connection to nature into the space. An integrated venting system allows an open air fire pit, reducing the need for pots and pans in some instances. This kitchen system is perfect for any size home, as its modular nature can be repeated to fit any circumstance.
