Sustainable design is an ever-present trend in the industry. Students at the University of Central Oklahoma currently lack a place for designers to collaborate with each other. A solution presented was taking a under used classroom and turning it into a zone that students would use. Research on student habits and ideas, like, seating types and colors make this space feel like their own. By incorporating LEED grade materials and manufacturing along with using concepts from biophilic design, a space that students want to use and that is good for them emerges.
